Refund Policy

Our refund policy is noted on the registration page of each event.  By registering for the event, you agree to the policy listed for the event.

Waiver of Liability and Informed Consent
COVID-19 Waiver: I attest that to the best of my knowledge, I do not have COVID-19 at the time of attending this class or event, and understand the risks of unknowing exposure to this and other illnesses by or to myself, my family, other participants, and third parties. I have not been tested and found positive; am not waiting for test results; and do not have symptoms. I agree that I will not knowingly expose others to any illness I may have or be at risk to have. I will follow all Peaceable Paws facility rules and requirements to reduce any exposure and possibility of contracting or spreading the virus. I will also fully cooperate with and follow any City, County or State guidelines that have jurisdiction in the area in which the class or event is taking place. If any of the above should change during the completion of the class session that is the subject of this consent, I will inform Peaceable Paws and proceed in light of the new information.
I agree that I am attending this Peaceable Paws Dog Training class or event entirely at my own risk and assume all risk and full responsibility for my own health, wellbeing, and safety during this class or event. I fully agree that Peaceable Paws LLC, the owners, Pat and Paul Miller, the Peaceable Paws employees, instructors, assistants and volunteers are in no way liable for any present or future COVID-19 exposure incurred at any time by any person, in attendance or not in attendance, during or after this class or event. I hereby waive and release Peaceable Paws LLC, the owners, Pat and Paul Miller, the Peaceable Paws trainers, employees, assistants and volunteers from any and all liability for damages or personal injury to me, my dogs or my property.
Further, I hereby indemnify and hold harmless Peaceable Paws LLC, the owners, Pat and Paul Miller, the Peaceable Paws trainers, employees, assistants and volunteers from any and all claims by or liability to any third party arising out of my participation in the Peaceable Paws class or event. Any liability to anyone for any incident involving myself, the location, or those pets or actions of other participants and spectators will be my sole responsibility and I assume all financial liability and will also assume all and any financial costs associated with my actions.

Liability Release
I, the undersigned owner/handler (client) of the dog described above do hereby agree that Pat Miller, Peaceable Paws Dog & Puppy Training, LLC and all Peaceable Paws employees and agents will not be liable for any damage or loss resulting from failure of the dog to respond to any cues or behaviors taught to the by Peaceable Paws or resulting from counseling and advice supplied to the owners/handlers of the dog. The dog’s behavior now and in the future is solely the responsibility of the owners/handlers (client) of the dog. Should any behavior on the dog’s part now or in the future result in damage to the property, owners, or person or property of some third party, owner agrees to assume full responsibility for any and all such damage, and to absolve Pat Miller and Peaceable Paws and all Peaceable Paws employees and agents from any and all obligations to pay such damage to owner/handler or third party. All dogs are trained or otherwise handled or cared for by or owner/handler receives instruction from Pat Miller and Peaceable Paws without any liability whatsoever against Pat Miller, Peaceable Paws or any Peaceable Paws employee or agent for loss, damage from disease, death, running away, theft, fire, injury to or from persons, other dogs or property, or by any other causes.

Photo Release
I hereby grant to Pat Miller/Peaceable Paws LLC and its assigns, licenses, and successors the irrevocable and unlimited right and permission to use, publish, and disseminate my name and any of the photographs or videos (hereinafter called “the Photographs”) taken in 2017 by Pat Miller/Peaceable Paws, include my image and/or my dog’s image in future seminars, training workshops, and in other projects and in all media in connection any other publishing or educational projects, for advertising, trade, or any other lawful purpose. I further grant to Pat Miller/Peaceable Paws and its assigns, licensees, and successors the right to crop, modify, and otherwise alter the aforementioned Photography or Photographs, including preparing composite or distorted representations, and to combine it or them with any written copy, photographs, or illustrations. I waive my right to inspect that Photograph or Photographs as so altered or combined with other elements.
I understand that by signing this Release, I am waiving any claim I might otherwise make for invasion of privacy or infringement of the right of publicity. Furthermore, I represent that I have read this Release before signing it and understand its provisions. I affirm and warrant that I have reached the age of majority and have full authority to make the grants herein contained.

Aggression Disclaimer

I, the undersigned owner/handler (client) of the dog described, understands that aggression in dogs is a behavior problem that can in some cases result in serious injury and even death. I also understand that failing to follow the management protocols outlined to me by Pat Miller of Peaceable Paws Dog & Puppy Training, LLC, may greatly increase the likelihood that my dog will bite and perhaps injure someone at some time in the future. Further more, I understand that all dogs can and will bite under the right (wrong) set of circumstances, and that even if I do follow the management and modification protocols explained to me by Pat Miller that this is not a guarantee that my dog will never bite again. I do hereby agree to hold Pat Miller and all Peaceable Paws staff harmless in the event that my dog should bite at any time in the future.
