A non-refundable deposit of $500.00 reserves a space in this Academy.

Your academy tuition is 50% refundable (minus the non-refundable deposit) if you cancel 60 days or more prior to academy start date, 25% (minus the non-refundable deposit) if you cancel 45+ days prior, non-refundable if you cancel less than 45 days out.

This 6-day intensive learning opportunity is designed to help you achieve your career goals as an animal care professional or committed hobbyist.

We limit enrollment so we can be sure to provide you with an individualized, quality program.

The pre-requisite for this academy is successful completion of our Basic Canine Training and Behavior Academy – or its equivalent.

Interns are responsible for their own travel, meals, and lodging. Rates at nearby hotels range from $69 to $130 per night. There are also campgrounds and RV parks nearby if you prefer.

Behavior Science is just beginning to scratch the surface of the capabilities of the canine brain. Be on the cutting edge of Canine Cognition with this 6-day L2 Peaceable Paws Academy. We will explore cognition, meta-cognition, theory of mind, imitation, object identification, canine reading, and more.

Students will ideally bring their own dogs (dogs need basic clicker skills); dogs can be provided for a limited number of students who are unable to bring dogs.
